Spoon Carving Workshop
Special Guest Instructor: Bethanie Lyall
- 1 Day Course – $250. + HST.
- Saturday, August 18th 10am-5pm.
- Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced.
- All materials are included.
In this full day carving intensive, you will learn how to safely carve a wooden spoon and knife, with the option of carving more if time permits. Bethanie will walk you through understanding how each tool is used, sharpening techniques, and how to safely and effectively carve your wooden utensil. You will be taught how to use the following tools: Drawknife, Gouge, Hook Knife & Sloyd Knife Tools and wood blanks are provided. There will be a lunch break where you can bring your own lunch, or go out to grab something to eat.
Who is Bethanie Lyall?
Bethanie is a self-taught woodworker from Peterborough Ontario. She has always had a passion for creating with her hands and has worked with many mediums before finding her love of woodworking.
